As you may or may not know, I released a group of songs in 2013--with immense help from Ryan and Ryan at the Loud Label--entitled "Future Vintage"; and it turned out great! Then after a couple singles here and there, I teamed up with Osunlade and Yoruba Soul and released an epic eponymous 5 song EP... As writer, keyboardist, singer, bandleader I've been performing this material with my live group called TheTruth, and audiences seem to really dig the music... I am super proud of these projects and would love to do some more--well..I AM doing more; and have been recording little by little ...
With your endless infinite everlasting subscription support I intend to:
*Release a couple tunes a week (along with any new beat-maker morsels I come up with in between),
*Release a series of the best of the live recordings taken from a weekly 2 year residency at The Dark
Room..including Full Live release container an entire 3-set night to hhwhett your hhhwhistle
*Finish all the new material I have sitting here staring at me rolling it's eyes waiting to be put in the studio oven.
*Do some live stream shows on as regularly as I can for all you saintly people who've been putting up with me all these years and will have helped in amassing the monthly capital necessary to record/master/video/edit/release ((and maybe tour when we get through this quarantinization situation)).
*Send a vinyl copy of my 2019 Yoruba Soul release to the first 10 supporters!
There are so many people I'd love to work with, and this will give them an opportunity to get paid well for doing what they love! It's hard out here for a musician!
